Join Doug Oster from Gardening with Doug, and Dr. Mark Miller, Education & Exhibits Director, for a walk through the gardens and woods of Pittsburgh Botanic Garden to view and learn about the wondrous plants found here. There should be a copious amount of witty banter and plant-nerdy conversations for all to enjoy. Our focus this time is on plants that have great fall color, as well as everything you wanted to know about garlic, Doug’s favorite.
The tour will be followed by a delicious lunch featuring seasonal produce, made by Slade Mankins, the Garden’s celebrated chef. During lunch, Doug and Mark will highlight seasonal tips, such as preparing for winter and creating winter interest in the garden.
The Botanic Walk and Talk is $55 for non-members and $45 for members.
